Satellite monitoring
From a field overview to the details of each capture.
Four readings of the same area
View NDVI and EVI2 to observe vegetation, NDMI to explore its moisture response and NDWI to identify signs of surface water. Enlarge each image to examine differences within the field.
Compare captures over time
Browse available dates and follow values in the index history chart. Check what changed between observations and revisit each period's image while retaining the area's context.
Compare imagery with field records
Find your FotoTracks by date and location within the area you are viewing. Available photos, comments and audio help revisit on-site observations and investigate variations seen in satellite imagery.
Compare values. Check in the field.
Use the indices to guide closer inspection. Compare the date, mean value and legend of each capture before interpreting a color change. NDVI, NDMI and EVI2 use relative colors per capture; NDWI keeps a fixed scale from −1 to +1.
Captures are dated observations, not live tracking. Clouds and image availability may leave gaps in history. Indices support analysis but do not, on their own, determine the cause of a variation or the need for an application.
